Quilled Quaker Marriage Certificate

In May I had the pleasure of quilling this marriage certificate for an engaged couple in North Carolina.

The bride and groom requested a pastel floral motif to complement their beach wedding. We emailed back and forth about design elements so the final layout would be just what they envisioned - a part of the process I always enjoy.

If you would like to see additional pictures and learn about the meaning of this type of wedding document, originally a Quaker tradition, the piece was featured recently at lovely Paper Crave.

  4. That is just beautiful. I'm going to have to go read more about that. My daughter is planning on getting married. It's not for a couple years yet but she might like something like that

Ann, that sounds great. If your daughter likes the idea, I'm sure you can quill a beautiful one for her wedding.
