Happy Blogiversary Giveaway!

Thank you for all of the wonderful comments - it's such a pleasure to read them! Congratulations to the giveaway winner, Pamela Haskin.

I can hardly believe it, but it's time to wish a big happy birthday to this blog... All Things Paper is five years old today!

Quilled double hearts necklace

Fortunately there's never a shortage of incredibly talented paper artists and crafters to feature and I still get just as much of a thrill when it's time to hit the Publish button as I did in 2009.

I truly <3 each and every one of you paper aficionados for your creativity and visits, and as a way of expressing my thanks, was inspired to design this Two Hearts as One necklace.

Quilled cards

So let's celebrate! I'm dreaming of a huge, real-life party where we can gather to share our enthusiasm for paper... can you imagine the decorations we would make? Reality check - it's a virtual party, but I do have something very real to offer. Because birthdays and presents go hand in hand, I'll be wrapping up everything you see in these photos to send to one of you.

Blogiversary giveaway gifts

There are five gifts - one for each year of blogging - including an autographed copy of Creative Paper Quilling and the Spring 2014 issue of CardMaker Magazine that features a section on quilling. The other three are things I personally made... an Asian-inspired floral card from Creative Paper Quilling, a fringed flower card as seen in CardMaker, and the quilled paper heart necklace on an 18 inch silver chain, packaged in a special box.

Blogiversary giveaway gifts

Just leave a comment and a way to be contacted within your comment as your chance to win. A random number generator will choose a comment next Monday, March 10, and I will notify the winner by email.

Quilled Asian floral card

And one more thank you gift! Tuttle, the publisher of All Things Paper, is offering a 30% off coupon to use toward the book to all readers of this blog now through June 30. Enter promo code ATP at checkout.

  33. Congratulations on your 5th anniversary!!! You have such great projects that you share with us. Thank you!!! I love that heart necklace. I think it would make a fabulous Valentine Day gift or wedding gift. Is there a possibility that you will be sharing the pattern?

  34. Sometimes I feel guilty because of how many hours I spend just looking at all the pretty items in your categories of projects. I only wish I had more hours in the day! I've quilled for over 34 yrs. now and began because it was a cheap craft I could do while I was home on bed rest during my first pregnancy. It was ideal and I've loved it ever since. I especially love 3-D type items - plants, little people, etc. but have never made anything that didn't get raves from the recipient.
You are SO generous to have given us ideas and a place to gather for over 5 yrs. now and I want to thank you for all the inspiration and attention to detail that your work shows us all. You help us all want to do that extra difficult project and show us that we actually CAN do it, step by step. You are an angel in disguise, but you've been outed now. Step into your wings and adjust that halo behind your ear. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
