The Kew Book of Paper Gardens is a wonderfully creative book by paper artist Fideli Sundqvist that features no less than fifty enticing botanical paper projects. Originally published in Swedish, at last it is available in English.

The book, which is suitable for beginners and experienced paper crafters alike, begins with a guide to materials and techniques before it delves into the lush projects step-by-step... everything from fiddle-leaf figs to ferns to forget-me-nots. Full-size templates are included.

About the Artist

 

Fideli, who lives in Sweden, was first drawn to paper cutting at university and later became enamored with crafting three dimensional paper sculptures. As noted in the press release, She is passionate about animal rights and nature preservation, and The Kew Book of Paper Gardens is a reflection of her love for the natural world.
